Welcome to another Tiger Swim season! Our goal is to have a healthy, happy, safe, and fast season. Please review all requirements, schedules, and important information below.

Athletic Clearance

Athletic clearance must be completed before any tryout or practice.

Practice Information

Tryouts / First Practice

Pickup is PROMPTLY at end of practice time as other teams will be using the pool after us.

Mon- Thurs 3:00-4:30pm 

Attendance Requirements

USA Club Swimmers

• Must attend at least one Holy Trinity swim practice per week in order to compete in meets.
• A confirmation letter from your current club coach must be submitted to Coach DeAngelis.

Varsity (Non-USA Club) Swimmers

• Must attend at least 75% of practices (3–4 practices per week).

JV (Non-USA Club) Swimmers

• Must attend at least 50% of practices (2–3 practices per week).

Important: Swimmers must be picked up promptly after practice, as the pool will be used by other schools immediately following our practice time.

Should you have a suit from a previous year to wear, please let Coach Tiff know to make sure it is good for this season. For any questions regarding suits or sizing, please email Coach Tiff ASAP.

Practice Attire

Girls

• One-piece swimsuits
• Tie-back suits permitted
• Two-piece suits permitted when worn under a drag suit

Boys

• Jammers
• Speedos
• Board shorts

Additional Requirements

• Hair should be pulled back and in a cap
• Water/Sports drinks will be needed. Please ensure your water bottle is filled prior to arriving to the pool.

Team shirts will be ordered after the team roster has been finalized.

  Oct 2 – 3 FSPA @ FAST 

  Oct 6th vs Lake Highland Prep & Lake Nona @ LHP 

  Oct 13th vs Titusville @ Titusville 

Competition Requirements

To qualify for Districts and beyond, swimmers must:

• Compete in at least 6 regular-season meets
• Note: Preseason meets do not count toward the 6-meet requirement

Time Standards

To maintain Varsity status, swimmers must meet both attendance requirements and performance standards.

Transportation

Tiger Transit

Tiger Transit transportation (school bus) is available from the Upper School campus. Tiger Transit will leave school promptly for drop off at Sherwood pool. Please see school signup for this service (additional fees apply).
